This is a large (16M) File, but if you manage to download it you'll find a meditation on war. This was originally written as a response to the conflict surrounding the invasion of Iraq attack, but was then edited for more general use on remembrance sunday 2006. It was used as part of a sunday morning program providing a core meditation which was then followed by giving people the option of responding through participation in; a study on the topic of war, art, corporate singing or private meditation.
This is a presentation designed to answer the question
"How would you involve volunteers from a faith community in bringing about transformation?"
It is targeted at a skilled team who are planning to facilitate a community based faith group. The team will be facilitating in the short to medium term developing the faith groups ability to engage in the long term.
Draft Prayer Guide
This is a handbook I'm writing about my experience in praying, on my own and with individuals and groups. I've made it available here for people to download and review. If you have suggestions that you would like me to include, or are helped by reading it, please let me know.

It is my belief and experience that communicating with God is simple. No complicated ritual or sequence of words should replace the act of taking a moment to listen and to speak with God, anyone who says anything different is trying to sell you something and access to God through Jesus Christ is free.
I also believe that all humans have the capacity to be Kings and Priests, authorised by God to be catalysts for creation and to transform reality realising their full potential as children of God. Again I believe the means for a person to accomplish this are freely provided by God, look for it and you will find it, ask and it will be given, knock and the door will open. There are keys to the gates of heaven, but you are already holding one of them and you just need to turn it.
One step is not, however, the whole of the journey and once the door has been opened there is a whole new creation to explore. I can help with the exploration.
